The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight for Flight Simulator 2002 / 2000 and Combat Flight Simulator 2.Is probably the most famous collection of historic aircraft in the World. Now you can enjoy a privilege usually reserved for the RAF's elite pilots. Climb aboard any of the 11 famous aircraft that make up the flight and take off from their base at RAF Coningsby in Flight Simulator 2000 and 2002. For CFS2 owners there's the unique opportunity to fly them when they were making history, in 25 authentic missions and a challenging campaign.

All the planes are modeled to a high level of detail and come in the BBMF livery for 2001. Aircrew from the BBMF have put them through their paces to ensure accurate flight modeling.

However, if you want to find out why these aircraft share so many battle honors, then install them in Combat Flight Simulator 2, change the pilot's uniforms for authentic period clothing and take part in 25 historically accurate missions and a campaign, designed to test your skill in everything from the Spitfires, Hurricanes and Lancaster to the Dakota and Chipmunks.

All the aircraft are accurately detailed with all the features you would expect in a high quality expansion, including: transparent canopies, visible crew members, moving flight surfaces, custom sounds recorded from real aircraft, animated undercarriage, and high quality, authentic paint schemes.

Period aircrew uniform selection

In CFS2 you can chose to have the aircrew in modern uniform with "bone domes" or in WW2 period flying outfits.

Instrument panels

Each aircraft has custom built instrument gauges and panels. The Spitfires and Hurricanes each have a true virtual cockpit. In FS2002 and CFS2 even the instrument gauges are operational in the virtual cockpit view.

Detailed airbase scenery

Remarkable scenery of the BBMF's home base, RAF Coningsby, includes: static Tornado F3s, the fire station, airfield control van, moving radar dishes, lighting towers, trees, fuel dump etc. The BBMF hanger and building is accurately depicted plus numerous other features like the officers mess are included.

Combat Flight Simulator 2 action!

All the aircraft are available for use in Quick Combat, plus 25 missions and a Campaign. View custom designed graphic screens as you fight through the campaign to gain your medals.

Time-line accurate and intense in their detail, these missions will take you back to the days of WW2 in the most vivid way. Fight Me109s, BF110, and HE111 bombers, strike at dive bombing Stuka's and other Luftwaffe aircraft to defend your green and pleasant land.

Fly the Dakota over the Alps on a daring mission, pilot a Mk XIX Spitfire on a photo-reconnaissance flight. Can you control the ultimate RAF WW2 heavy bomber, the Lancaster on a daring raid to bomb a V2 rocket factory? Or can you escape a Soviet MiG 19 jet during the cold war over Germany in your humble Chipmunk?
