Buddha Air started operation with just one brand new Beech 1900D in October 1997. Today the airline operates 4 brand new Beech 1900Ds. Buddha Air operates mountain flights from Kathmandu to the Langtang range. This flight usually lasts for about an hour.
It is not always that you look out of your window and catch the highest peak in the world just outside of it; but when you do you definitely would want to remember the moment forever - and our Everest Experience flights allow you to do just that. An experience unlike any other, we fly you past nine gorgeous peaks in the world. The program takes you almost five nautical miles from the highest peak in the world-Mt. Everest.
The program also takes you to 4 of the domestic destinations serviced from the airline's base in Kathmandu

Yeti Airlines is one of the best newest domestic airlines in the Kingdom of Nepal. The airline commenced commercial flight operation on 21 September 1998. The company has come up with a broad objective of meeting domestic air transportation needs of domestic and foreign tourist passengers. The airline took delivery of its first Embraer 120 on October 9th 2000 and uses it mostly for mountain flights.
This program also allows you to discover the great uses of the Twin Otter which can basically takeoff and land anywhere, a feature that comes in very handy for the rough landing fields of Nepal. Phaplu and Rumjatar are only 2 to mention. Flying in Nepal is most of the time the only transportation available to reach certain areas of the country and it makes this program very valuable, interesting and extremely exciting!
